Oakmont Senior Living is known for their commitment to serving seniors with memory loss caused by Alzheimer’s and dementia. This dedication is evident when visiting our lovely memory care community in Fresno, California. Just moments into visiting the retirement community, you will see a full calendar of events, activities, and seminars all centered around improving the lives of those with memory care needs. We are also proud to have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association for more than a decade to help raise awareness and funds for research and a search for a cure. In 2016 alone our retirement communities and memory care teams raised more than $50,000 to support the cause.

This year Oakmont Senior Living communities have come together and set a goal of raising more than $50,000 by the end of November 2017. We could not be more pleased to announce that we are already off to a great start as we have raised $15,000 to date. Most of our retirement communities throughout California will be showing their support for the Alzheimer’s Association and other memory care related charities by participating in Alzheimer’s awareness walks and by hosting a variety of on-site events. For more information about these events, you can contact Oakmont of Fresno and ask to speak with our Marketing Director, Kelly Metz.

We encourage every business, individual, and organization in Fresno to get involved with Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness in any way possible. You can get more information about events and fundraisers held by the Alzheimer’s Association by visiting http://www.alz.org. We also encourage you to check our website events page often as we regularly add memory care related events, fundraisers, and benefits at our retirement and memory care community in Fresno, CA.
